It wasn't really planned, but I took a summer break from blogging! Numerous factors contributed to this.... one, it's way easier to read a blog post than to write one. I read about 15 different blogs, a couple about food, a few about quilting, several written by friends, several about parenting or homemaking, and a couple of theological ones. Those posts add up! Especially if a blog happens to have several contributing writers, or several posts a week. Second, it's been a full season, and I have barely been getting my normal "gotta happen" things done, much less recreational pursuits like blogging. Third, I haven't really wanted to blog or felt motivated... so I haven't. That's the nice thing about hobbies! You can shelve them for awhile and pick them back up when you are ready.
I don't have a whole lot to share at the moment, other than... I'll try to post about the last few months of {12 in 13}, as well as Caleb's and Papa's (my dad's) birthdays, both in early September!
